Are There ANY Underdogs In Wrestling Anymore?

Brehs after watching the Rock/Cena 2 video package for the millionth time (since Rock THE fukkING CHAMPION can't be on Raw to build up this shytty feud) had me laughing how they trying to spin that Rock's victory cause Cena to have a "Bad Year" and he has to over come it by winning this year... which is total bullshyt since Cena had a pretty good year main eventing ppvs WITHOUT THE TITLE and etc.

I also watched on Smackdown Mark Henry putting Zack Ryder in the Hall of Pain in record time which made me sad since I remember how Zack build himself from about to get fired to one of the most over babyfaces leading to a United States Title win in 2011... only to be thrown away for Cena since he wouldn't "Embrace The Hate"

My point is... are there ANY true underdogs we can cheer for in wrestling anymore? You know... the wrestlers that has the stack stacked against him and we root and cheer for him to overcome and grow as a character and we will spend our hard earn money to watch that man succeed? In my eyes the cloeset we have of that is in TNA with Joseph Park, other than him is there any other or is the "underdog" in wrestling extinct?

Would Ryder been a heel had they done that? I remember when Cena shoved that nikka down while Zack was crippled with crutches and I was like "WWE Zack can't be booed now he's too sympathic" but they proved me wrong by shoving him off the stage in the bushes.

Whats funny is the underdog vs a giant is the only way EVER miz couldve gotten over...imho if miz was booked like mikey whipwreck or theyfaced him as champ vs big show, mizark, a heel brodus, etc and he was kind of like little mac vs. bald bull/King hippo/super machoman/tyson punchout!! style....he would get over

Tyson kid is kinda of an underdog. Remember last year when he got that win over Albert and everybody thought he was in for push??? He had alot of ppl rooting for him after that for a few weeks, then he disappeared after that. Sin cara was something like a underdog. He hasn't Bern the same since he returned from injury. They've booked the top faces sooo strong that the heels have become the underdogs in the truest since of the word. WWE doesn't do underdog stories right for the most they're either people who aren't underdogs at all (Cena) or guys who been handled so badly that when they win you don't believe in them (Mysterio in 06', Punk's 1st whc reign).
