I am not in the military but I have been working in I.T for a few years; healthcare I.T.

Anyone got tips on getting an I.T military gig (preferably Remote)??

Never been in the military but I work in IT. Healthcare too. I'd start with purchasing a couple pocketknifes if you don't own any already :ehh:



But on a serious note, it sounds like you're asking about jobs with security clearances the average civilian wouldn't have. I THINK you'd actually need to serve, but I'll let somebody better suited answer that.

Gonna need at minimum a DISCO clearance which you should be able to get if you have a squeaky clean record or honorably discharged from service.

Then its a matter of finding a company that deals with DoD contracts and get hired. Workers with clearances are typically contract requirements so they'll take you thru the process.

What part of healthcare I.T are you in?

He can get a top secret clearance, but his record would have to be so clean that Mr. Clean would have a hard time believing it:pachaha:.

That includes things like unsecured debt (e.g., credit card debt). The government can't have you being persuaded to give away top secret info because they offered to pay off your $50,000 credit card.
