Contemplating revisiting this series as I never got a chance to fully appreciate them because I was too caught up on the smackdown vs raw games at the time

I was still playing No Mercy when these came out, but looking at the video, it actually looks kinda similar to the THQ/AKI 64 games. I still have a GameCube too, might have to find a copy of this and give it a shot. For anyone who played both, is the DOR gameplay similar to No Mercy?

Day of Reckoning 2 is The No Mercy to Day of Reckoning 1 if it was considered Wrestlemania 2000, it has the vibe of the AKI games but it does its own thing. I'm gonna grab a copy for my wii since it's backwards compatible.

They were great spiritual successors to No Mercy (and high key better than it in some areas), and what a lot of modern wrestling games should try and take certain ideas and such from.

You can’t tell me nobody here wouldn’t have fun tryna decide between Cody’s Nightmare Family and The Bloodline/Judgement Day in Story Mode
