The 5-5 Chiefs are riding a 4-game winning streak that has seen them beat:

the Steelers 23-13
the Lions 45-10
the Broncos 29-13
and the Chargers 33-3

Their remaining games are

Buffalo
@ Oakland
San Diego
@ Baltimore
Cleveland
Oakland

They haven't allowed 20 points in a game since Week 4.

The AFC is pretty weak this year.

The Broncos will head to the playoffs with a highly unproven QB in Osweiler.
The Steelers have the firepower to bang with anybody, but have to ride the old legs of DeAngelo Williams and injury prone Ben Roethlisberger.
And the Bengals are a strong 8-2, but their running game is suspect and losses to the Texans and Cardinals are exposing some flaws.

Granted, nobody is going to take Alex Smith to beat Tom Brady in January. But a team that plays great defense, runs the football, and dominates Time of Possession (3rd in the AFC) could be something to watch.

All his top wideouts are injured now tho. They really only had to shut down Gates:manny:
Give them some credit.
They beat the Broncos - Demaryius Thomas had 71 yards and no TDs
They beat the Lions - Megatron had 85 yards and no TDs
They beat the Steelers (without Big Ben) - Antonio Brown had 124 yards and no TDs
They lost to the Vikings - Peterson only had 60 yards rushing and no TDs.
They lost to the Bears - Forte had 71 yards rushing and no TDs.

The Chiefs do a pretty good job of shutting down a team's best option.

Andy Reid deserves more credit.

Bet the Eagles wish they still had him.
