yes they're good. Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite. Directed by Alfonso Cuaron, John Williams on the score and Emmanuel Lubezki doing cinematog

I've only seen the first one and can't remember if I finished. I'd say no. Unless you like the books maybe.
The films get much more dark and adult around the 3rd film.If you take them for what they are (children's fantasy) I'd say so
take someone's opinion who hasn't seen a single film that he is telling you to not watch brehs

Read the books before you watch the movies if you have never read the books. The movies leave out a lot of things. I enjoyed the movies and they get darker as it progresses.

People over rate the fukk out of prisoner of Azkaban because of who directed it.
Recently bought the blu ray collection and watched them again,the first 2 are ehhhh. The replacement actor for Dumbledore was nowhere near as good as the first.
Overall though the series was pretty good.

Pretty cool video that shows the evolution of the franchise. Children's fantasy turned into a dark nightmare.
And the films absolutely get darker and more adult as they go. That's not even debatable
