Complete bullshyt, all an hdmi cable has to do is send and receive a digital signal. Stop over paying for those cables. Considering the length from your av components to your TV the cable manufacturer is not going to make a difference. Here is a company that I have bought numerous cables from and never had a problem, and they are very inexpensive.
