Those best buy guys are pretty good liars. I bet they get a lot of people with their juelzing about special HDMI cables. They also start talking to your wife at girl at this stage in the sales process. Whenever someone does that you know they are on some bullshyt.

I used to work at Circuit City back in the day and the markup on cables was ridiculous. $60 monster cables were like $3 with my employee discount. With Amazon and others available now, can't believe people still getting ripped off like this :mjlol:

On the flip side, the markup on CD's/DVD's was a penny or two. Not worth getting a manager to use your discount. Sold them things at cost just to get you in the door. They did record stores DIRTY :wow:

This is why i miss radio shack. I think you could get HDMI Cables for like 25 cent and a used book of matches.

There no place to buy cheap electronics, except for dollar tree but their selection is scarce and i'm not trying to go online for every 2 dollar purchase.

They don't make commission at least not in recent years.

But if you ever worked in audio and video sales, those accessories always paid out good, especially the monster cable. I would make mad loot on hustling the monster cable and surge protectors.

Yep...that's when you introduce them to Monoprice (aka, shipping costs more than the cord :russ:) and blow their minds

Best Buy still hustling people when they go in to get a new TV?
About 8 years ago I had a roommate that bought a new TV, set it up and told me he spent like $30 on his HDMI cable. I hit him with the :gucci:, gave him a spare one I had in my room, told him to return that shyt and if he wanted to get one on Amazon for $5.
