Is it worth it to pay extra for the "better quality" eggs? I currently buy the Eggland's Best Brown Cage Free eggs. Is it worth it to pay more for these, or are regular eggs good enough? I only have the egg whites, so does it really make a big difference?

:patrice: interesting question since the cage free jawns can be damn near 2-3 times the price of the regular eggs. i remember someone stating they could taste the difference between reg vs cage free. reg might be better since they got roids in them (i jest)

I don't know.
I really don't taste any difference between the eggs here.

Now, when I go to visit family in DR? I can DEFINITELY taste a difference in the eggs from there. They are so much better.

Definitely not if your only interested in the albumin (egg white). However if you want to have a more nutritious, vitamin packed yolk to your egg then you definitely want to spend a little bit more and get the free range (organic) versions. The yolk contains all the fat, cholesterol and majority of vitamins and minerals. The yolk is a superfood to say the least.

If you're wary of your fat intake (even good fats, which is still worth being wary of) then I suggest doing what I do. Buy the cheapest eggs you can get to use as your egg whites, then buy small free range pack for when you decide your going to use the yolks.

Nah you actually can taste the difference, shyt is wayyyy better and actually looks bright yellowish when you make em scrambled. I compared em to some safeway eggs and cheap asian market eggs. Never again will I fukk with those shyts brehs them joints came out lookin damn near white and they just looked :flabbynsick: next to the OG cage free range Omega-3 enhanced eggs.
