shyt's not feminine and makes a joke of being a woman.

Why aren't more women offended by drag queens?

I think some view it as a celebration of femininity in a country that otherwise views femininity as being corny/lame/childish :manny:

gay culture views feminitity as corny? :jbhmm:

No, blackface was to degrade black folk. Drag is a celebration.
that's what i'm wondering. if i was a woman, i wouldn't be flattered by drag. it's cartoonish and over the top. :hubie:

1. Women can make up their own minds.
2. Telling them how they should feel just perpetuates the idea they can't think for themselves.

some (specifically radfems) are offended, but the term womanface is also considered offensive cuz of the comparisons to blackface.

at what point did i question women's agency :mjtf:

asking to understand, in no way, undermines the agency of women on this subject

The bias is implicit in your initial assertions as to how you would feel if you were a woman, and as such they should feel the same way.

You're not them.

nah, thats conjecture. the fact that i frame my assertion based on the reality that i am not a woman does not lend itself to any bias or claim that i am. my feelings are not indicative of all women nor do they dictate how women should feel. these feelings are my own and are made clear

i caution you against thinking women are a monolith, though :umad:

GOD
The only other people pushing LBGT besides LBGT are women, and feminized men.

This is not our fight, women don't seem to be offended by it. That is until they wear those dresses and going to the same bathrooms as them, get the same scholarships and as them, and achieve higher sports goals than them.
