Yes, yes and yes (arguably better).
I'd definitely give it a watch. The humor is very different from SP, if you've ever seen Sealab 2021 or Frisky Dingo, it's one of the same creators and voice actors with similar humor. Would break macaque off in some of the female characters even tho they cartoons
