The "slam a super heavyweight and the ring breaks" spot was invented in 1936. :dwillhuh:

During a 1936 match against Man Mountain Dean in front of 36,000 people, Coleman slammed Dean to the ground, breaking the ring mat and dropping the pair down to the arena floor.[2][3]
:ohhh:

The aforementioned Coleman is also the guy who invented the dropkick. :wtf:

How long has this shyt been a fukking work? :damn:

Forever.

The indie respect stand off spot dates back to at least the early 1950s, as does the powerbomb, backdrop driver, and piledriver. I've seen a clip of a buckle bomb from the 70s.

Madusa Miceli was so popular in Japan, she actually came out with a hip hop album in that country. She even performed concerts in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The world’s largest tag team were the The McGuire Twins who competed from 1972 to 1979. They were a combined weight of over 1,468 pounds.

Does anyone know if Choshu is legit the first wrestler to use the Sharpshooter as a move? I know he was the first to popularize it, then Sting did it and then Bret.

I know Konnan was the one who showed Bret the move for the first time so I've always wondered if someone from México actually invented it.
