New NEOGEO MVSX Arcade Cabinet Brings Home 50 SNK Classics

The NEOGEO MVSX arcade cabinet has been revealed, and it will bring with it a number of beloved arcade titles from the King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and Samurai Shodown franchises. Set for release this October, the cabinet will retail for $399.99. Like other recent arcade replicas, the NEOGEO MVSX has an optional base, as well. The base extends both the height and the price; the extension costs $100 and makes the full unit about five feet tall. The cabinet features a 17-inch display and offers support for up to two players. I wanted the Marvel cabinet but when I saw no MVC2 im like screw this.

The diversity of games is poor, there's too many fighters. The Neo Geo has a great catalogue and while it's best known for its fighters and the Metal Slug series, the selection should be more varied. That said, hopefully it is hackable

That much for a table top game? Arcade one does standing sized arcades for that price.
their counter top ones are like $150. and you can mod them with 1000s of games for like 80 bucks extra for those rasberry pis'

That's prob my only gripe...especially since SNK was pretty diverse in the arcade. Half them games were in the neo geo mini.

for that price, it better have the real seimitsu parts that the originals had. also could have used more diversity. it is missing some sequels for the non fighting games

Neogeo's catalogue is 85% fighters tho.

Most people don't know about the Super Spy, Neo Geo World Cup type games. They are just giving you the titles people remember.
