It is a little damn ridiculous that MacBook Pros don't have touchscreens, especially for the premium you pay. My biggest complaint on having one.

touch screen laptops are a gimmick in my opinion. I've NEVER been thinking that I wish I could interact with the screen. I have a phone and ipad to do that.
plus, I find that larger screen touch screens are kinda cumbersome to type on.

that's what multiple outlets that follow apple have been reporting for the last couple weeks.
It can be VERY convenient sometimes tho.
For the price you pay, it at least should give you the option. Having it on cheaper hardware and not your flagship premium device is really weird.
