Vince McMahon was apparently dead set on doing another "Brawl for All" shootfighting event back in the late 2000s — this time, with the NXT roster.
Former writer and producer John Piermarini says the WWE Chairman "had to be talked out of it" following the failure and controversy of the first event, which left a number of wrestlers injured. Piermarini revealed the scrapped plan on Twitter Tuesday night after watching VICE's Dark Side of the Ring, which chronicled the fallout from Brawl for All.
