Apparently, ancient people worshiped vaginas and menstrual blood.

"Menstrual Blood used to be the most Sacred substance on Earth, and now science is discovering its incredible healing powers…"

I'm at Barnes & Noble reading a book called Tantric Kali: Secret Practices and Rituals by Daniel Odier. In the book, it speaks about Kali about how each aspect of her appearance in her depictions symbolize. She has been worshipped for 5,000 years since the Indus Valley civilization.

In the Kaula tradition, woman is the Goddess and menstrual blood is the manifestation of her power. Periods are venerated and menstrual blood is used in many rituals. In the book, it speaks about how yoginis (women) transfer their power to yogis (men) by him kneeling before her and "absorbing" the sun (blood) and moon (sperm) after intercourse.

Anyway, I quickly googled and found its not just in the Kaula tradition but many places where wombs and menstrual blood is spoken of as being power and a symbol of rebirth and ressurrection. And even today, menstrual blood contains stem cells which can be extracted and used for many treatments.

So protect your wombs ladies! You are a powerful goddess and your body is a temple.

The menstrual cycle is so cool! over the last few years, I've gotten into it more and always learn something interesting, like how is so closely tied to the lunar cycle, what it means when you bleed during certain times of the month, how you body is changing and reacting during each cycle and now this! Awesome information.

I also heard that obelisks especially those in Egypt were supposed to represent men's dikks. Don't know if that's true but guess it was worth a mention in here.
The ankh is suppose to represent the women's reproductive system, correct too?

In hinduism there's a deity known as the bleeding goddess this is what it looks like. There's a celebration around this idol but I can't remember it.

If you actually look at it, a lot of building are based on the male genitals or the female genitals. A lot of churches and other buildings with the dome shaped roof look like breasts. All the rectangular building look like shafts. Washing Monument is clearly such a structure. The ankh represents both. Pretty much everything is based on the human body or something its related to
