i just watched this movie..and it was awsome..

but there was something about it....it was extremely similar to the novel "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad

but instead of Africa, it takes place in Vietnam

Yeah, it was overall ok. The ending of the movie however was one of the most beautiful sequence of events, very powerful imagery.
