I trained at a normal gym for a year- a year and half.
And then i got a Bench press and dumbells and EZ curl bar. Next squat rack and lat pulldowns

Yup. I have a gym membership but mostly work out at home unless I wanna hit some random machines.
I have a bench, free weight dumbells with 2 of every weight from 5 to 45 pounds, a treadmill, a punching bag, speed bag, ab roller, curling bar, tricep bar, and some kettlebells. I'm good to go here, I like being able to work out at my convenience and my pace. Sometimes I'll just pretty much workout and BS all day long.
Plus I got a 36 inch Vizio in there I got hooked up to Apple TV, so I got movies, TV shows, or I just play a youtube playlist I made of videos that get me going
I was going to the gym, but decided to clean up my weight room and start using it, best thing I ever did... making major gains right now, gone up about 70 pounds on the bench press in past 3 months
