I'm copping one of these tomorrow
I know a guy that has one. He lives 3 miles away from his job and he fills his scooter up like every 3 weeks. Now when it rains he drives his Chevy Silverado. But he basically done got rid of a bill by doing that.
Yeah, he would bike it too but the way the area is made he can't ride his bike thru there. I guess you can say that it's not a bike-friendly area so he rides that scooter. Plus, it's not a new scooter. That scooter is a 1980 something scooter that was in his outhouse. He pretty much bought new tires, battery, gave it a tune-up and any other little things he had to do to get it running and that's what he rides. There are some areas around Birmingham that you may be able to get to on your bike but if you was to see where he's at you would understand.Even at $4 a gallon a 3 mile commute is only gonna cost a little over $1 a day if u drove a regular car. 3 miles is so short, I'd bike thy daily without breaking a sweat.
