Anyone seen the movie Ordinary People (1980)?

Watched it on Amazon Prime two nights ago. Movie is powerful and profoundly sad. It's probably one of the best films I've ever seen. I suggest you guys go and watch it; y'all will not be disappointed.

random. i almost watched this movie last week. i decided to watch cape fear instead. i may watch it sometime this week.

pretty good yet somehow underrated movie despite the hardware it won.

i had to watch in college for a psychology class and I ended up writing an essay on abnormal behavior that conrad displayed. it was a movie that I didn't mind watching at for school at all.

before i researched it, i had no idea that this movie absolutely cleaned up at the oscars (nominated for 6 awards, won 4) the year it came out. some really great performances in it. I recommend it over alotta other overrated movies that have won oscars and didn't deserve it.

fun fact: robert redford and ordinary people won the oscars for best picture and best director over raging bull by martin scorsese. but yeah...i'll check it out tomorrow n add to this thread.
