It is the story of Curtis Snow, a real Atlanta "robbery boy and crack dealer whose livelihood revolves around armed robbery and drug pushing" who "sought out [director] Damon Russell to make a film about his life." The film's title refers to protagonist Curtis Snow and to Atlanta's neighborhood The Bluff, which is infamous for crime and drug dealing.

From what I could tell, parts of it is real and some isnt. His babymomma really did die, there is a scene where they were trying to film a murder but it was really a dude that got stabbed in the stomach amd almost died. The nikka in the white hat got (aka the greatest supervillain since darth vader) killed shortly after the movie finished filming. I saw an interview with with one of the cast members and he was talking about about 90% of it is real. He also said they didnt rob them drug dealers either but did rob some people a month before and the director wanted to recreate it.

I just recently watched it on Netflix...thought it was pretty good for what it was and tried to capture...some hood Blair Witch shyt...are people serious with this debate over whether a film that depicts multiple acts of murder and various other felonious acts is "real" or not though? :heh:
