Anyone not want kids?

If not, why?

Personally, my reason being is that I suffer from manic depression and don't want to pass on my genes, think birth is disgusting and generally, just don't like children. Even as a child I remember not liking babies.

Plus with the amount of children in foster homes, it just doesn't seem like an ethical decision for me to bring another child into this world when there are too many children already not being taken care of.. I could attempt the adoption route once I get older.

I don't want kids either. I'm much better off worrying about myself than having to take care of someone else. I don't find children cute or none of that bullshyt, but I do find them annoying. I might feel differently when I'm 60+, but I seriously doubt it.

because im bipolar schizophrenic and would hate to pass on my damaged genes but unfortunately i did reproduce before being diagnosed. its strange seeing your kids grow up into disorderly challenged people. they have their good moments and then there are the wtf times. it can make you laugh and cry all at the same time.

I don't want kids... Right now but in a few years I hope to have a few. I think that says a lot for you though that you would consider adoption. I think it takes a special kind of person to raise a kid that's not theirs.

There's really nothing wrong with being apprehensive about wanting children. The dudes in this thread seem to have good reasons (i.e. not wanting to pass on depression, doubting their capabilities to be good fathers based on lifestyle choices, etc.)

The real ones who need Jesus are the ones who want to have children and then end up not giving a shyt about them.. Basically flaunting their young as fashion accessories and "ain't shyt alleviators" (a lot of dudes try to act like their kids are the world to them so that nobody will notice they don't really care.. A lot of these dudes live lifestyles that are detrimental to both them and their kids) when its convenient to them. The world doesn't need more unfit parents raising ain't shyt kids.

If you notice something among people that have success in life you'll notice, family most of the time. Its only in certain cultures, culture that have been crushed by demons where individuals shun family and children in favor of making their dreams work alone. Legacies and people in power are established through families not so much an attitude catering to individualism.

There are some people though that are insane or know they would make terrible parents and realize their DNA should not move into the future. these friends, friends.

I never really liked kids either and never wanted any. I cant stand seeing them when I'm out running errands. I just dont have the patience to deal with one.

I just want to give birth to my own flesh and blood and then adopt another.
That's been my plan since grade 5.
