I don't know the artists ... but, from my day, Phantom 45 was the premier drum n bass dj from chicago. I think produced tracks as well.

So if you want to listen to dj sets, I assume he has some on youtube.

Also, I'm old. So there are probably a ton of other artists now..

I've always wanted to get into Drum & Bass, but didn't know where to start. Anyone into the genre? Can you link me influential albums/artists?

Thanks

Been a fan since the early 2000's of the genre, there's a lot of different styles of DNB and too much history to cover so I'm just gonna post some of my favorites tracks that came out this year as a starting point for you

The "harder" ones

Here's some more tracks from this year, these are more my style of drum and bass nowadays

:yeshrug: Not sure what you're looking for, I'm sure there are other heads in here somewhere that can add on.. If there's a certain style you like let me know I can post more examples later.. I honestly could literally go on all day posting my favorite tracks

UKF usually posts new tracks damn near daily: https://www.youtube.com/user/UKFDrumandBass?feature=watch

Drum n Bass sounds better to me in this decade than in the 90s..the jungle is less jump up and more electronic sounding..but peep Todd Terry's the famous house producer jungle album called resolutions that he made back in the days..
