Looking into getting a maschine for production work. I usually do point n click + my 25 key midi player, but I think it would definitely enhance my workflow. Interesting in hearing your thoughts

Had the og version. Great product. You can use the controller or your mouse.

Highly Recommend.
Thanks for the recommendation breh

Got the MK3 first day it dropped....one of the few things I don't regret buying

What do you like most about it? How is it with sampling and things other than just drums?

Well I came from FL so having pads a note repeat button was huge for me.... sampling is easier for me I wouldn't call it my strength but it's easier... Besides drums i can integrate a hardware synth pretty easily which is a plus... sometimes I don't use my midi board at all just set the maschine to a random key random scale and see what happen

From my research the mk2 is still solid. the advantage of the mk3 is it functions as its own sound card so you don’t need your computer or an interface.

buyers remorse?

Yeah...the software is trash...

It's not really all that accurate in terms of velocity

You still gonna use the mouse and quantize

I have Ableton, so sampling ain't that big of a deal...

I am good just with a midi keyboard...

Unless you one of those MPC types...then it's not really all that...

Better off upgrading computer wise or some better speakers or soundproofing or getting music lessons

I didn't know this :ohhh:

Yea I was looking at an MPC LIVE at first but it cost more with a used running for $950-1,000..and new $1100

I could get a used macbook, and a new MK3 for just about the same as an mpc live ...and I need a new laptop as well.

See I use FL STUDIO and click in drums as I have no midi stuff yet...I like the click drums, piano roll and the sequencing in fl studio..it's easy to organize song structure.

Though the maschine I like the idea of loading a drum pack and sounds to play on pads as I feel it would connect me more to my music.

Abelton just visually looks unappealing to me.

Yeah no...see I thought the same thing and I just found the maschine pointless...

When I make music, I just wanna open up my my laptop...and go straight to making the shyt...

I download all my packs and shyt from whatever torrent site on my other laptop, plugin my harddrive and get to work...

Putting the fukking Maschine on my desk and pulling up their shytty software and making a drum pattern in that, that's gonna take me 30 minutes...because I gotta make it in Maschine and can't just make it in fukking Ableton and I don't feel like rewiring or whatever the fukk so I am bouncing it as a .wav file...cause it's faster

Also don't feel like making some map so I can use Ableton and the console without the software...

When I already got tons of drum patterns...that I already made or downloaded and it is already quantized and randomized in midi...and I can just drag and drop that shyt...with no thought

Like there only like 20 drum patterns in the fukking world for each percussion instrument...drums in my opinion ain't worth all that effort...

Time is money man...I am not down for all that time being used on a simple ass drum pattern...plus I like to pitch my drums to the key of my song...

You can make one fukking drum pattern in midi and save it...for each percussion instrument and all you gotta do is select the sound when you compose your drum patterns...

I got a midi folder of drum patterns...

What the fukk are you doing making each fukking drum pattern by hand...over and over again...

fukk all that feeling shyt and just make music man...like if you really serious about making music...not fukking with gear and finding the cool new thing...

But making music...you are gonna wanna do it as efficiently as possible for you...drums are gonna sound the same whether you do it live or program it...

There are world renown producers that be making beats on Cool Edit Pro still...

That be making beats without even using midi...just fukking .wav files...and they just sound design the fukk out of music...

Cause it's faster...and there are also people with all the gear in the world but they are actual musicians with piano skills and analog synth skills and all types of shyt...so that make sense cause they can play instruments...really well...so they got a gang of instruments

If you ain't got no musicianship skills...invest in that...that'll give you way more feeling or whatever than Maschine...

Maschine was a waste of my money...should've gotten a piano teacher...:mjlol:
