I see a lot of cats using it in the gym these days. Had a go on one the other day doing a variant of a cable fly which was tough and felt good. I wanna get one but that £160 price tag seems steep for a bit of rope. Anyone else do suspension training? If so, is there an as-good-as alternative to TRX that might be cheaper? Or is TRX the one.

My boxing trainer put me on to it. I do calisthenics on it.

Hanging back rows, dips, pullups pushups, some abdominal work.

the trx is :whew:

Its hard to explain but its a deep inner muscle DOMS, gives you more of a functional strength by heavily working out your stabilizers.

I recommend it if you bout that calisthenics/bartendaz/gymnastic-strength life.

The 5/3/1 template I had been following had strap push ups as an accessory on bench day. The variations I had been trying were very tough. I have also been using them for my shoulder pt. I could see incorporating them full time once I'm back in gym.

Do you feel different after doing TRX exercises compared to the alternative?
