I'm pretty adept at using eLearning development software (Articulate Storyline) and been thinking of creating online courses for profit. Simple concept: Develop a course, host it on a LMS site, and put whatever pay wall for interested people to gain access to.
I looked at this 2019 blog that had some notable/trending niches to pull ideas from...
Top 10 best niches for online courses in 2019
...but naturally some road blocks I face are either i'm not knowledgeable in the niche field or the ones i am knowledgeable about (say, fitness/personal training) the field is already over-saturated with free content (youtube, instagram, blog sites, etc).
For the latter, i know the topic within the niche has to something specific and technical enough that it can't just be found for free on youtube. For the former, i'd probably have to get some books or find a partner to act as a subject matter expert.
So I want to know what specific topics you guys think would make for some good online courses (that aren't already offered for free)?
