Anyone ever get underbite/overbite or jaw surgery?

Because I've got to get surgery on my underbite finally. I'm 23 and my lower jaw has finally stopped growing. I've got to get back in braces for about a year prior to the actual surgery. And this will be the third time I've had braces. They've got to bring my top jaw forward about 70% of the way and my lower jaw is gonna be pushed back 30% of the way.

So yeah. I'm just looking to see if anyone has any experiences with this.

i also need this[ im also 23]...im not sure if i want to do it..cuz i already had braces.....dont wanna pay again

and idk if this whole thing is worth it..or how noticeable my underbite is

and ur jaw might never feel the same..and it will hurt for basically 8 months i heard

and now i really have doubts since they wanna move my upper jaw foward like urs....which is like double surgery...rather than just the bottom
