I tell them I left because there was no room for growth or advancement opportunities.

The one time I was fired I was given the option to resign so therefore I can say that I left, not that I got fired. Thats the key :youngsabo:

I been fired many times, I just didn't list them in my resume.

And once my sister got married and we had a different last name I started listing her as an employer and had people call her for sparkling reviews.

Done this all the time.

Even thought about putting my own number with a different name and boost myself up till I was in pole position

Also, I made the cv up up go for different jobs, if it was a driving job, I gave myself 8 years experience, If it was an office job, I lied about my experience in that.

Never got caught, but they wasn't high end jobs, so it's not like I was gonna get caught or checked.

I know someone who lied about their gcse results, they was fukking up in their job 6 months in and their worked checked their stuff and fired him for lying on their cv.

just wanna know :shaq:

Girlfriend works in HR, I guess the laws vary by state but the general rule is all an employer can tell someone who calls is the dates you were employed from, can't say anything about how your employment ended.

Looks like it confirms what I said

"That said, because of laws regarding defamation (which is slander or libel) companies are usually careful about what information they provide to hiring managers confirming employment or checking references. What they say has to be the truth or the company can be subject to a lawsuit from the former employee. Legally, they can say anything that is factual and accurate.

Concern about lawsuits is why most employers only confirm dates of employment, your position, and salary. "

I feel ya cause it would suck to have a good job and not be able to list that on your resume. But the key is to have at least ONE person at that job that will be a good reference, preferably a manager or team lead. When I got fired I was still able to use that job because I had manager there who I was cool with, he wasn't even my direct manager but he still said positive things about me when called by other jobs

I got fired from a bank back in the day for excessive tardiness. I always lied about that shyt when I was asked in interviews. I just said that a nicca went back to school fulltime. They always hit me with the :whoo: Then i went into some heartfelt story about how education is paramount blahh blah blah :king: As time went on tho, i kept increasing the length of time I was at the bank. For example, I got fired in a January. By the time I found my next job that October, my resume said I left the job in August. They never check that shyt. Thus began my embellishment phase, which enabled me to triple my salary in just two years. :smugfavre:

Brehs, You'll get over everytime if you got dat gift of gab. :lolbron:
