I tell them I left because there was no room for growth or advancement opportunities.
The one time I was fired I was given the option to resign so therefore I can say that I left, not that I got fired. Thats the key
I been fired many times, I just didn't list them in my resume.
And once my sister got married and we had a different last name I started listing her as an employer and had people call her for sparkling reviews.
just wanna know
Girlfriend works in HR, I guess the laws vary by state but the general rule is all an employer can tell someone who calls is the dates you were employed from, can't say anything about how your employment ended.
this contradicts ghostwriters post
who is telling the troof
that is good.
bc some young girl got let go during her 3 month review...thats crazy.
i was like
she did suck, but its sad bc she cant even list that experience
id be good bc i could work a random job and freelance until one of my many networks opens up a position and try to get in
I feel ya cause it would suck to have a good job and not be able to list that on your resume. But the key is to have at least ONE person at that job that will be a good reference, preferably a manager or team lead. When I got fired I was still able to use that job because I had manager there who I was cool with, he wasn't even my direct manager but he still said positive things about me when called by other jobs
