Anyone ever buy songs off iTunes on your iPhone and they disappear?

Since last year I've downloaded probably around 100 songs to my iPhone from iTunes and there have been at least 5-7 that i listened to and saw but have disappeared as of late from my iphone like i never bought them and they were never there

what is the meaning of this and am i not alone?
