Sony has shot themselves in the foot.
My best friend who's a lunatic Sony fan just called me on the phone, on the verge of tears
saying that he's thinking of returning his PS5 to Gamestop for store credit.
I laughed it off but I think he's serious, he's posted numerous Whatsapp statuses about this.
He feels betrayed by Sony not making exclusive games anymore(he was so angry when Horizon was released on Steam). I told him what's going on, he feels like he cannot feel powerful playing games knowing Xbox fans are playing them too on Gamepass.
I tried to tell him that those games are coming to PS5 too but he feels it's not enough, he thinks Sony has lost the war and that this will shift the tides towards Microsoft. I think Xbox has destroyed Playstation finally and we are now back to the Xbox 360 days.
