Anyone else still cop old games they've never checked out/missed from previous gens?

Especially considering that we're currently in a dry moment as far as new piff games goes (Last of Us, Assassins Creed 3, RE6 and Halo 4 won't be dropping til 4th quarter....and the last "Must Have" game that dropped was Max Payne 3) . I missed alot of the previous gen mainly because that was during the phase in my life when I wasn't really into gaming much.

Few of previous gen games I just copped this year.... I know I coulda emulated these joints but my CPU is ancient and probably couldn't even handle it, plus I like to collect certain ish anyway

I wanna get another ps2 just for this reason...there are not only a shyt ton of games I HAVE played and wanna get again, but games(especially imports) that I wanna cop. It's no shock when people say that the ps2 is up there with the SNES as far as the sheer number of good games...whether they're import, obscure, or well known.

I agree with the bold.

If you're gonna cop a PS2 then make sure you also cop component cables for a more sharper/vibrant look on ur HDTV

or else the picture will look garbo if u use the reg yellow/white/red composite ones that come with it breh. I'd also suggest setting ur color setting to about 65 for PS2 games and have ur tv setting set to "game" mode so there will be no filter distorting the image.

Some games such as MGS2, Vice City (SA will look garbo regardless), Onimusha, Kingdom Hearts, RE4, God of War 2 and Final Fantasy X can look almost as good as current gen games if u have the correct settings

If you already have a Wii then just cop the RE series on that instead, they ported those RE exclusives over to the system. Re remake was the sole reason I copped a Wii so late in the gen when it got cheap. I was waiting for it to drop on XBL or PSN but once I realized it was never gonna happen I said eff it.

I copped a Dreamcast a couple years back. Started up shenmue but stopped playing for some reason. Im trying to collect all systems and the games I missed out on.

I used to have a SNES emulator to play games all the time but now not so much. I do still play classic RPG's like Icewind Dale II and Baldurs Gate from time to time.

Sidenote: Every true RPG fan needs to experience the greatness of Chrono Trigger.
