I swear I rewatch that Mayweather vs Maidana 2 fight every couple of days, and every time I see it, I have a different perspective and opinion. Roy Jones once said that you judge a fight the best the first time you see it. After that, your initial impressions become clouded, and you start to lose value in your first perspective. I think he's right. What do y'all think?

My favorite fight of all time is toney vs jirov. I watch it all of the time. I'm about to watch it now actually. Toney put on an amazing performance man. Both guys did actually, you can't take any credit away from jirov. Guy was amazingly tough and brought the best out of james. Plus it featured classic manny steward "jirov is HUUTT, JIROV IS HUUTT"

I ALWAYS watch fights over and over. Also, I disagree with Roy, I actually get to see more things and appreciate the tactics that fighters may have used. I appreciate the technicality of boxing, not the knock outs, just the fundamentals and the chess game the fighters present. I like to see at what point the fight changed, what punch did it, what subtle movement did it, etc. I study a LOT of fights. When I have free time and old fight is on with the remote in my hand.

I watched this fight recently Chino takes all the blame for how it turned out, floyd took it to him all up in his shyt from the first bell, that trajectory of the fight didn't change until the bite then the ref got out of hand

I watch Corrales vs Castillo 1 regularly :ohlawd: that was a fukkin war,
i have a very random rotation of fights that i watch week in and week out but that fight and the merqui sosa-prince charles williams fights are on the very short list of the fights that i watch at least once a week..makes me inspired to put in that work in the gym

I rewatch fights all the time, but for enjoyment purposes. Never to re-score them shyts. My 1st opinion of a fight is the one I go with 99% of the time because it's the most pure.

Within the last 3 or 4 weeks I've rewatched

Tyson/Holyfield
1 (1st time in years. Noticed that Watson nikka walking Evander into the ring. Great national anthem by Gerald and Eddie Levert too)
Pryor/Arguello 1 (1st time in years too, Top 10 fight of all time to me. Even shorty sits down and watches this one with me.)
Leonard/Hagler (I just love this fight. Great boxing and pressure fighting)

VHS tapes that I keep out nearby an not in the tote locker archives because I watch them frequently are....
Mitchell/Tackie - I loved this fight. Big Shramba Mitchell fan and he outclassed the fukk outta dude. Even dropped him for the 1st time late.
Bryd/McCline - Great fight of a lil nikka beating a big nikka just off of skills. Bryd went from getting dropped early to almost KOing McCline. That 6 punch combo he threw had me like :ohlawd:

Hatton/Malignaggi - I can't stand Paulie and I love seeing him get his ass kicked especially since he downplayed dude beforehand.

There's others but those are the ones that come to mind first.
