Where I live (Trinidad) it's pretty common to see older brehs walking around with their small birds in cages. Usually songbirds

my father had one when I was little. He ended up selling it though.

I had those two budgerigars for years...probably like 10 years or so when I was little they were both loud and talkative as fukk...then one escaped and flew away when the door opened (I didn’t do it). The other bird didn’t say anything for a couple of days then dropped dead
