Anyone else get frustrated with holidays?

A brotha trying to stack his money until it rots and every time you turn around it's time to "buy somebody shyt day". Christmas was just a couple of months ago, now it's Valentine's Day, in a couple of months it's Mothers Day, squeeze in a couple of birthday's and a trip and then it's Christmas again. I just got done paying for Christmas and now I'm out of another $1600.

Me and the wife aren't on the same page because she's the festive type and that shyt burns a hole in my pockets. I'm not the type to be cheap with people and buy things just for the sake of buying and now for the next week, I'm going to be thinking about everything else I could have done with that money.

Oh, the annual trip is coming up and that's another 5k +. Other people's consumerism is killing me because I want everyone to be happy.

I get frustrated with there being so many. Like we just had Fat Tuesday, now it's Valentines, st. Patrick day is coming up and than Easter shortly after. Here in New Orleans they have to throw a big celebration for every Lil thing people were throwing hurricane parties when Katrina was approaching. I always ask myself do people in this city ever just chill.

I don't frustrated because it's the holidays I get frustrated because people move like dikkheads.

• Waiting last minute to do xmas shopping.
• Trying to impress people you didn't care about for the other 365 days of the year lol.
• Doing extra to stunt on people who you do not even know lol.
• Bum ass sales, wtf is 20% off when we pay a 13% tax on all goods... That's pretty much a measly 7%
• You could be down bad in Oct, then December comes around the same mfks that didn't wanna help you two months ago when you down bad, wanna reach out and wish you a Merry Christmas
• Poor people feeling bad society's telling them if you don't spend a ton of money you ain't shyt. I just seen a commercial where the man was contemplating Celebrating Christmas or Paying His Rent, that shouldn't be problem...pay your rent

It's just so crazy how people get. It really doesn't have to be that serious. If it was that serious you're telling me you have 365 days to save up for this one day and decided naah, it only matters in December.
