He would be one of the biggest "faces" on the roster if Enzo beats Kalisto in the pre-show and Neville comes in, in street clothes, jumps over the barrier, kicks this dude and hits his finisher and then runs through the crowd while "security" tries to get him.
Have him come back on Raw and do the same thing and then have him escorted out (not arrested) only to have him come back and beat up Enzo backstage when he's talking to Angle about security. Play the ambiguity of his situation up as much as you can.
But with WWE I doubt that would happen

i wouldnt connect Neville to these releases at all...they released those people because they didnt need them anymore or werent going anywhere....
Nevill QUIT....so naturally if someone tries to shyt on you and quit out of nowhere you keep them under contract so their career is in limbo until it runs out...you dont just free the man...

I miss the days when you couldn't tell what is a work or not.

it's different when you choose you want out and when WWE chooses they want you out.
it took mysterio months (years?) and punk months to properly get their releases granted when they wanted out. the company just sees neville as somewhat valuable it seems.
daniel bryan on twitter openly talking about where he wants to work next and who he wants to wrestle on the indies and they won't cut him either. they see him as valuable and are gonna make him wait out his contract.
