Them joints were mad expensive in the day, so I use to just rent. Now that I'm older tho I find myself copping them, got mad wwf joints.

Came across so many good deals, some of them was still sealed too :wow: I ain't even spend a grip either.

Anyone else collect?
To this day one of my regrets is not hitting up every video store when they was going out of business to cop some tapes. :snoop:

That's exactly what I did one day years ago, got some Coliseum videos cheap from a store that was going out of business. Didn't do anything with them for years, then transferred them to DVD a couple years ago.

Golden age WWF late 80s.

Best of TNT Show (clips from 1980s WWF talk show)
Villains of the Squared Circle (all heels, hosted by Heenan, Studd and Bundy)
Wrestling's Bloopers, Bleeps and Bodyslams (corny title, but it has quite a few classic 80s segments in it)

Think I might have a couple others, can't remember which ones though.

So lots of Heenan, Gorilla Monsoon, Jimmy Hart, Hogan, Orndorff, Piper, etc. The tapes were only a couple bucks each, so it was worth it. :smugdraper:

All in good shape, barely used. There were others there that looked rough so I didn't bother taking those. ("The Ken Patera Story" is one I remember leaving behind, it looked like it had been played a couple thousand times) :rudy:

But then as I said, I left them sitting around for years and that usually kills VHS tapes. I got lucky though, they transferred to DVD pretty well.

I only got several of them. I only copped when I could find them for cheap. Coney Island flea markets, video stores tyrna get rid of their old tapes, etc.

I threw all of my tapes away I dubbed myself over the years, but kept the Coliseum joints. Tapes take up way too much space. I only mess with dvds if I want some throwback piff.

The tapes I got off top though:

- Royal Rumble 94
- WrestleFest 91
- Global Warfare 93
- WrestleMania VIII
- Survivor Series 92
- Royal Rumble 93
- Stone Cold: Cause Stone Cold Said So

I think that's it. Got a couple WCW tapes too. Only reason I kept them were because the quality of the tapes were still crispy as they were back day :whoo:

Those things were staples of my childhood. My mom would always buy previously Viewed
copies from the video store in our grociery store. Supertape series, wrestlefest, Best Grduge Matches, Rampage 91 are some of the ones I had and still do own. I have a good bit more too can't think of the titles right now.

I used to have a bunch of old Coliseum tapes I copped from my local video store when it went out of business. I had damn near every PPV from '87-'97 but I sold most of them.

The only ones I left now are:

Summerslam '89
Supertape '92 (this tuesday in texas ppv)
King of the Ring '93
Summerslam '94
Slamathon '96 (In your house: buried alive)
Royal Rumble '97
King of the Ring '97
Rampage '97 (in your house: badd blood)
Survivor Series '97

I was going to keep them all but after I transferred them to dvd I said fukk it and sold them.

I used to rent them all the time. Bought a few whenever video stores would sell them or some stuff I found on eBay. I don't have ANY of my VHS tapes anymore though. :(
