Anyone been to Las Vegas recently? Which hotels do you suggest?

Years ago I stayed at The MGM. It was cool, but I’d find a more expensive place if I were to go back.

Yes, I have to spend more more because some of these places have terrible reviews. Things must be much different than they were back in 2017 lol

I lived in the Cosmopolitan for 6 months straight at one point.

It's my favorite hotel in Vegas. mid strip so you're walking distance to everything dope.

It's the only hotel on the strip with balconies so if you smoke cigars or weed, it's great.

The Fountaine Bleu and Resorts World are pretty nice but they're brand new and have no personality yet. They're also north strip and away from everything. The Wynn is also super nice. I stay at the Aria and Venetian alot too.

They make you check out every 28 days and they didn't peep that I stayed in that room 45 straight days and then they made me check out for one night and then come back.

I was on a ridiculous gambling run. I went out there for the Canelo-GGG 3 fight and just decided to never come home.

I hit the Cosmopolitan for like 110K in 3 weeks and they banned me from all BET MGM Casinos, well they cut my limits to $500 a game. Then I started smacking Caesars around.

I work from home.

Many people around here know what I do.....but I work for a well known sports and pop culture website that does podcasts and I'm also on TV.

I bet straight bets. I was betting 5-20K a game.

Hiking day at red rock or Grand Canyon

A day of just walking around the strip drinking and going to see all of the casinos

A pool party day and gambling day (we don’t gamble, but we always spend a little bit just to do it for fun and see if we can make some money)

A day of going to see a show at the sphere

A day in old Vegas (Fremont street - I have been to Las Vegas three times and I’ve never been there)

We might go to a concert or a nightclub, depending on who is performing

I rather spend more money doing excursions so I don’t mind saving money on a hotel.

Are y’all going in the summer? My wife spontaneously started planning a birthday trip for me, and she wants to go the week of the 22nd. But it’s going to be extra hot. Most of the stuff we wanted to do off the strip is outdoors, so I don’t think we’ll do much except a pool day with a cabana, and stay indoors. We stay at the Cosmopolitan. It’s easy to stay inside, because it connects to the Bellagio. I have comps for Caesars properties, but the Caesars properties in Vegas aren’t as nice as the ones in Atlantic City, and that says a lot. So I just use our comps in AC.

I’m also concerned about the day clubs during the week. We want to go to Marquee. The cabanas are cheap during the week, but go up pretty high on the weekend. But the Marquee cabanas are cheaper than the cabanas at the Blvd pool at the Cosmo.
