Anyone been to Las Vegas recently? Which hotels do you suggest?

I haven’t been since 2017 so please put me on

I last stayed at Harrahs in 2013 and 2016 and The Cosmopolitan in 2017.

I heard some of the hotels fell off since then though.

Last time I did a staycation was at Virgin. Very nice.

I’ve stayed at Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan recently. Both were nice.

I recently stayed at the Wyndham Blue off the strip. Got a 3 bedroom suite for $800. $100 deposit. They let me decline room service due to Covid policy and that saved me a few hundred. Got a good discount from work. It was cool for me and the fam.

Luxor was nice except for elevators..

Elevator was

Like it was haunted...


I'm assuming because of pyramid architecture. Elevators moving diagonal.


Plus if you're a smoker, the walk from your room to outside is a minimum 10 to 15 mins. The lobby is literally a mall/ casino/ a dozen restaurants...

Vdara is my favorite.

No actual casino in it so it's a lot less busy, less riff-raff. But it's still close enough to Cosmo, Aria, and the Bellagio. Easy ride share pick up and drop off too. Nice modern decor.

I didn’t get an iPhone until 2021 though

and I made 80K back then in 2016-2017. I was frugal and still am
