Anybody Wanna Tell Me What This Randy Savage ICW Promo Was About?

When I'm not working, sometimes I'll get the inclination to run through old wrestling matches and promos, like most of us on this board. A few days ago, I was looking through some old ICW stuff (old Memphis outlaw promotion run by Angelo Poffo) and came across this Randy Savage promo:



Now, Savage was known for some weird, weird promos, but this has to be the most bizarre by a mile, right? The effects, the random disco in the background, the fragmented, coke addled promo itself? Quintessentially Savage, but fukk if it isn't possibly the actual weirdest minute or so of his career.

Have you seen the cage match against Garvin from that time too? They work in one of the tiniest rings I've ever seen and it's a pretty damn good match.

This was during a feud with Ron Garvin in the Poffos' promotion, IIRC, and Garvin was the face, IIRC. It's been awhile since I've seen this stuff.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Garvin was just doing typical '80s face tactics to get back at Savage, who was kinda ducking him, and Savage did this great YOU GOT ME AGAINST THE WALL, MAN promo as a whiny heel.

I might be mixing up my old angles, but I'm pretty sure that's it.
