Been waiting on this game for awhile now.. I checked to see If the demo was out (comes out on the 22nd) but It won't be out until tomorrow
How many people play these games? I remember reading somewhere that Dead Space 2 sold a combined amount of about 3 million units or possibly less, and thats between both platforms, which is pretty bad for such a good game.
I think Dead Space (in some ways) is a better version of the Resident Evil games. I used to be a huge RE fan (Until #6) owned and finished all of them but the games themselves started to lack something, suspense.
I think Dead Space does a great job of putting you on the edge of your seat, some of the sequences and boss battles in those games are executed perfectly IMO, from the sprawl boss to the mutating beast at the end of the game, the games pacing to me Is never off and you're always working toward that next sequence, boss, node, store or bench.
Anyway, I'll drop a couple videos of one of the boss battles from Dead Space 2 and a trailer for Dead Space 3, hopefully DS3 (which is released Feb 6th) will do a little better than Its predecessor in terms of sales....
This game is slept on!
