Just wondering if any of you or anybody you know rented through this company, Hello Landing. I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this company. People call the company Landing for short. The company rents out apartments with not only modern furniture, but everything you would need at home, such as silverware, blenders, salt and pepper shakers, can openers, etc... They rent out apartments in all 375 cities in the U.S. They have the regular Landing members, who rent month by month, and they can move anywhere in the country, every 30 days if they like. These prices can be a little high though. You can also book a flexible stay, that requires a 6 month lease, where you suppose to get better rates, as long as you don't break the least. There is a $199 yearly fee to be a member of Hello Landing.
They also have a program called Landing Standby. Members call it Standby for short. This is the program I was about to hop on, until I read those mixed reviews. Anyway, you only pay $1,295 a month for rent, and just like the other members, you can stay as long as you want, or move anywhere in the U.S., as long as you stay for at least 30 days. But they can ask you to relocate anytime, and they can give you as little as a 30 day notice. It's compared to flying standby. The concept behind Standby is to rent out vacant apartments to Standby members, until a Landing member, or a regular tenants wants your apartment. Then they will email you a 3 day notice, while offering you another nearby location. I just don't think all these new locations will always be nearby. This may work for you, if you don't mind being bounced around like a pinball.
Hello Landing was marketed for occupations like travel nurses, or for people who work remote, that want to travel the country. I read good reviews, but I read enough negative reviews to stay away for time being. Tbh, the newer Standby program doesn't sound sustainable to me right now. But I do hope they last, and work through those issues.
