Can the mods make this a sticky?

I know this is going to be a difficult watch, but I love how Netflix does the recreations in their documentaries.

I am only 10 minutes deep into the first episode and that nurses emotions are real as fukk.

:mjcry:already.

your stars are but dust on my shoes
My friend works for a firm out in LA that gets contracted by law firms to handle their digital media needs i/e: setting up projectors, PowerPoints, videos, audio and etc.

Due to his job, he comes across some pretty gruesome images and lawsuits. The stories that he's shared with me never fail to leave me speechless, and really gives me perspective on how much crazy and tragic events happen on a fairly regular basis.

He mentioned a case about a girl who was sexually abused for years, and the social workers/child protective services completely failed to protect her. She survived, and won a judgement that ordered the city to pay her millions of dollars.

Gabriel's story in the doc is heart breaking.
Rest in peace.:mjcry:

Edit: This segment on the police is fascinating. LA police stay moving like a gang.
