Anybody on here ever work as a bank teller?

wanted to know if anybody had any experience working at the bank at that position or anywhere else in bank

+ You gotta crosssell, lookout for suspicious activity and deal with alot of dumb folks.

I did when I was in college.

Had to work Saturdays which was wack.
Turnover is crazy, so we always had to train new folks.
Didn't like having to meet referral quotas.

Money was aiight, though...and it looked good on my resume when I got a job at another bank non-retail.

No. It's a stand-all-day-long job. So that might bother you if you've never had that kind of job.
I worked retail at a department store. Standing all day sucks.

This....starting from the bottom at a bank and working your way up be a good thing. my sister did it. just be prepared for the annoying customers and having to make sales in the beginning :lupe2:
