Anybody know where to get 4th of July type sales on electronic instruments?

I'm trying to help someone buy this Bose L1 compact and/or Bose L1 Model 2 joints. for cheaper than their retail price somewhere.

Those Amazon prices are the standard pricing right now...trying to see if he can get it for cheaper.

Any suggestions?
