Lmao at your ass negging me for this. It was a joke breh.

But seriously if you know how to bike, what kind of advice do you need? You didn't ask anything specific.

You want some real noobie tips? Make eye contact with ever car ever. or leant to dodge like a motherfukker, cause those bytches will NOT look out for you otherwise.

Getting your bike stolen (Especially if you come to rely on it as a legit mode of transportation) Is probably THE most gut wrenching feelings of all time. It's not like a car that insurance will replace. That shyt's on you, and the chances of getting it back are pretty much none.
And chances are it WILL happen, no matter what kind of lock you use (Although I hear kryptonite locks are amazing)

You looking to commute? Be prepared to get wet some days. Be prepared to hate it, and to want to throw your bike in the fukking bushes and just give up and call a cab, and say fukk it, I quit, I will never bike again.
Dont. Those are the days where you'll step in the front door and feel fukking glory for pushing yourself to your limits, and not stopping.

And don't be so much of a bytch. :scusthov: Ol "Oh you hurt my feelings" assed mahfukka. Neg all the bytches that didn't even take time to LOOK at your thread in the first place.

the beauty of riding is you can do it as long and as often you want.

Obviously make sure you're consuming enough to fuel your workouts, if you're gonna ride every day, but you're good.

And again as long as it doesn't burn you out, if you wanna take a spin class and ride as well, :yeshrug: go for it breh.

As far as training programs, I dunno. I've never used one but I'm sure you could do some kind of HIIT if you want to increase your endurance or whatever. I don't really worry about form. You'll figure out what works best for you, the more you get out there and actually ride.... as long as nothing hurts and your bike is properly fitted you should be fine.

I've pretty much ridden almost every day for the past two summers now except for the past month or so cause I've been injured... varying between 4-40 miles (So far) I had my eye set on trying for two extremely long rides this summer (100 miles, so 200 mi both ways), but injuries and a broken bike = :sadcam: status

Next year tho...

For training it really depends on where you are. There might be some trails, but you might be stuck riding on public roads which sucks. I would look for roads w/very low traffic and train on those. If you are in NYC you can't beat Prospect + Central Park either early in the morning or late at night. I am sure other parks are good as well.

I really enjoyed cycling but now with lifting and my age I can't do it all. I had to fall back.

I don't wear a helmet cause it makes me look like an a$$hole, and it messes up my hair. :why:

Considering the amount of times I've been hit, I really should, but Live fast, die young mahfukka! LOL (I keep meaning to buy one, and just forgetting. I'd recommend wearing a helmet lol.)

I personally wouldn't buy a folding bike, but that's just a personal preference. I'm sure they're fine for some people...no real reason why, it just doesn't appeal to me.

Well Cycling has been the more beneficial sports for many years but with the passage of time people have started using motorbikes to complete their daily tasks . I remember when i was child, i mostly used bicycle when going to school and for doing other activities as well the different is that when we became older and aware about the health benefits from cycling, we have given up getting this and now have shifted from bicycle to motorbike , As a result, we are ill due to no movement of parts of our body . So I think bicycle is good for our health and fitness the thing is that we have to make use of it to stay healthy and fit for a long time .
