I can set my mpc up as a master or slave.
So if it's the master, I can press record, stop, change bars/steps from my daw or another machine, using the control on my mpc.
If it's the slave, I can use whatever daw (mpc beats, FL studio, logic) and basically remote control my mpc.
You can also connect hardware together. @TEKBEATZ
You're going to have your midi clock or midi time code so your devices are in sync.
It's an element to the game....I mean..I could lay down drums on the mpc, then lay down keys on a keyboard, or daw, or elements from another piece of hardware. Or vice versa....
