i'm a bit frustrated @ how the supreme court was scared to lay down the law in concerns with gay marriage and state rights even though i understand their reasoning behind it. they're looking for a better case to address that issue BUT i have to say that i really don't have the patience to go through waiting again. waiting from march to now was a long fukking time. for them to go like "states can do whatever they want" knowing that there's states with amendments prohibiting gay marriage, defining marriage as being between only a man and a woman, and states with some separate but equal bullshyt with the civil unions and whatever else. THAT IS NOT RIGHT!!!!

hope that AFER's is figuring out what to do next. i'm NOT trying to wait til i'm 40 to find out if me and my other lgbtq brethens will be able to receive the same rights as straights. fukk!!!!!

The didn't want to put the states rights issue out there because they really aren't serious about this issue. This is just a distraction from real world events and rights violations. Every time something huge is happening, the courts or congress decides on some random shyt.

pretty sad that equality was given until 2013. then again, some other rights are being taken away.
