Go to listen now or browse tabs on the bottom of the Apple Music UI

In the corner u should see a icon that looks like a person, u can then set up your profile

I’d recommend letting Apple sync your contacts, you’ll see a lot of your friends or family profiles

So they basically remade the last.fm feature? you can scrobble from YT, Spotify, etc already with last.fm plugins

This then catalogs the specific location and time the song was playing

So imagine instead if the landing page for each song is a social media page that will show you comments from each other person that discovered this song in the wild, artists would have mapped data of when and where their songs were heard and users would be able to connect on the basis of the songs that moved them enough to pull out their phone and stop while their phone searched for the song they are hearing

The value of the data harvest includes

When and where the song was heard
And what kind of demographic did this song make an impact with

Knowing who liked your song enough to pull out their phone and stop while the alp analyzes the sound is of incredible value
