I remember being so upset as a kid. I didn't like Backlaund at all. I was just so confused as to why Owen, Bret's blood brother want him to loose.

Great match in retrospect. I remember the buildup too with Backlaund snapping and putting suckas in the chickenwing.

and after bret won he stopped and gave me homie daps, held on to the hand and all
even got to slap the champs belt a few times
that ol prick backlund came runnin out from backstage jumped bret and i damn near went over the rail from the impact.

nikka was the shyt tho...I hated his push at the time, but I came around quick when he started fukking nikkas up with the Chickenwing, then staring at his ends to take in the blood he just put on em, that shyt was legendary
