Anybody ever have hernia surgery?

found out that i had a reducible hernia. if im laying down, the dr can push it back in. but once i stand up, i guess the tissue is so weak, it goes back down. basically the right side of my groin is larger than the other. the dr said i dont have to get surgery right away. its not a dire emergency. but when i do get it done, its an outpatient surgery. takes about an hour. ill get put to sleep. when im recovering, i cant lift anything over 20 lbs for a month

What happens if you don't do shyt about it?

I haven't been to the doctor in a while. And I know I have a hernia...

no clue. but the dr said mines wasn't fatal. he said i can take months to get the surgery if i want. that some patients dont wanna do it right away cause they play golf in the summer.
