Anybody ever dream completely original music?

Anybody else ever experience this? For me, it usually happens in one of two ways, either I'm making some music or I'm listening to some music (that even though in the dream its not my song, its still not a real song, its something my mind came up with). On many occassions I have dreamt of music in very full detail, sometimes even with completely original lyrics in it as well

It's not always rap music either, it could be R&B, in which case I'm dreaming of full lyrics with vocal melody, harmony, the whole nine yards. The music sounds like a fully produced record!

Usually by the time I wake up, I can't really remember much about it... but also the music is usually something that is pretty far beyond my real life capabilities. There could be live horn arrangements, guitar riffs, string sections, etc... shyt I just can't do in real life.

At times I will dream of a sample, something that I want to flip, but I'll wake up and realize, the sample I was dreaming of isn't real, my mind dreamt the whole thing up

shyt is weird brehs, anyone else experience things like this in their sleep??

I don't hallucinate, but I think of original music all the time, I just don't think I'm bout dat beatmaking life.

I dreamt of and subsequently remembered melodic lines after waking; however, I've not ever utilized these melody lines in an actually track yet. That memory of a dream usually lasts only a couple minutes and unless you document it somehow (I guess it's easy to record with a smart phone) the memory vanishes.

i think up songs all the time, its always a lot crazier than my real stuff but mostly because i add in a bunch of crazy effects and stutters in my head

Lol I thought this only happened to me, I would dream of a totally original beat and original lyrics and the shyt would actually sound amazing.. I be on some lyrical miracle shyt in my dreams, sometimes I would wake up with the sounds still in my head but id end up forgetting it

I do this sometimes, or Ill get hit with an idea in the car, hum it into voice memo on my iphone, then try to replay it when Im home

yes this is what I'm saying!! This isn't thinking of a melody, this is a completely produced record that never existed. shyt is weird.

never had that experience really. i did dream one time i was hanging out with Ja Rule, DMX and Jay-Z in my old town. And there was a basketball court where it isnt in reality.
